Controversy: ► In 2015, his ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande publicly slapped Sushant Singh Rajput at a party when he was fully drunk and dancing with the other girls around him. ► Again in 2015, he was even rumoured to have been secretly married to his ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande. ► In the year 2017, he was nominated for IIFA Awards as Best Actor in a Leading Role. Sushant Singh Rajput Death
► On Sunday, 14 June 2020, Rajput was found dead hanging from the ceiling fan in Bandra of Mumbai apartment in the morning. The police made disclosures regarding the actor’s mental condition at the time of his death. He had reportedly been suffering from depression for about six months. According to Vinay Chaubey, IPS officer of Mumbai Police, the team that visited his residence, were found some medical prescriptions and medical reports in Sushant’s room and the investigation is underway. However, no suicide note has been found from the spot, the official added.
He was born in a small middle-class family in Maldiha, Purnea, Bihar, India.
