Via Missed Call Banking:
This service can be availed for multiple purposes, like making a balance inquiry, getting a mini statement, and home loan-related details

- To check the account balance in English, give a missed call to 0-9015-483-483.
- To check the account balance in Hindi, give a missed call to 0-9015-613-613.
- To check the last 5 transactions in Canara Bank, give a missed call to 0-9015-734-734.
- The call will automatically get disconnected.
- An SMS would be received from Canara Bank containing the bank account balance.
- Via SMS Banking:
The account holders can check the bank account balance by sending an SMS in the below-mentioned format:
Send CANBAL <space> USERID<space> MPIN from the registered mobile number to 5607060.
To avail SMS facility, the mobile number must be registered with the bank.
- Via Internet Banking:
Mentioned below are the steps to check the Canara Bank account balance with the help of Internet Banking:
Step 1: Open the official website of Canara Bank i.e. (https://online.canarabank.in/?module=login).
Step 2: Login using User ID and Password.
Step 3: Click on “View Account details”.

Steps to install the mPassBook App
Mentioned below are the steps to install the mPasspook app to view the Canara Bank E Passbook:
Step 1: Open the App Store or Play Store on your smartphone.
Step 2: Look for the Canara Bank e-Passbook.
Step 3: Download and install the app on your smartphone. Enter the registered mobile number for validation purposes.
Step 4: Launch the app, accept the terms and conditions, and click on “Proceed”.
Step 5: Enter the bank account number.
Step 6: Select offline mode to access the passbook without a login PIN.
Step 7: Click on “Register”.
Step 8: An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number to validate the mobile number. Post which registration will be completed.
Step 9: Enter a 5-digit login password and click on “Change”.
Step 10: View the passbook of the latest 15 or 30 days as well as the last 10 transactions.
Step 11: To check the bank account balance tap on “Balance”, enter the account number and click on “Show”.
- By Visiting ATM:
There is no requirement to visit the bank within Canara Bank Timings to get the transactions updated as the same can be done sitting in the comfort of your home and that too 24*7. Mentioned below are the steps to check the bank account balance by visiting the ATM:
Step 1: Insert the debit card into the ATM.
Step 2: Enter the 4-digit ATM PIN.
Step 3: Select the “Balance Enquiry/ Check Account Balance”.
Step 4: The account balance will then be displayed on the screen.
- Via USSD Banking:

Step 1: Dial *99*46# from the registered phone number.
Step 2: Select the preferred language.
Step 3: Enter the IFSC Code of the bank.
