Kushinagar, in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar district’s Tamkuhiraj area, a woman was killed by a neighbour over a dispute over sitting on the roadside on Saturday morning. Police sources said that Mahant Gond, a resident of Shyampatti village, works in Lucknow for livelihood. His wife, Manju Devi, whose age is 30, lives with their two daughters and a son at the village house.

Manju used to come and sit on the side of the road near the house sometimes. But on the other hand, the family of neighbour Hemant Lal Srivastava used to find Manju sitting on the side of the road offensive. Hemant stopped Manju sitting on the roadside on Saturday. There was a dispute between the two regarding this matter. And due to this, angry Hemant Lal thrashed Manju with an iron rod; that’s how the dispute got worsened.
Moreover, the local people, considering the woman seriously injured, reached CHC Tamkuhiraj, where the doctor declared the woman dead. After getting information about the incident, CO Tamkuhiraj Jitendra Singh Kalra and SHO Tamkuhiraj Neeraj Kumar Rai reached the spot with heavy police force and arrested the three accused.
