We sure do live in a weird world, don’t we? That’s exactly what Malorie Makey’s new show and podcast are pushing to discuss. Weird World Adventures shows you just how weird this world of ours really is. From reporting on the concepts of ghosts to psychics to bizarre natural phenomenon to the just plain weird lives people live every day, this strange adventure show and accompanying podcast aim to give an anthropological approach to the bizarre nature of our weird world. So, without further ado, we’re here to talk about Weird World Adventures the TV show and the accompanying podcast releasing alongside it!
What’s Weird World Adventures?
Weird World Adventures is Malorie Mackey’s brand which consists of a TV show, a podcast of the same name, and a website. Across the various media, Weird World Adventures aims to show you just how weird this world of ours really is. The show focuses on immersing you in some of the most incredible people living very strange and unique lives across our weird world. The podcast, which is now releasing weekly, offers more in-depth discussions on the anthropological side of our world. Specifically focusing on mythology, folklore, weird history, and the possibilities of science and how it plays into some of the unexplained phenomena in the world, the podcast aims to expand and further the conversation on weird topics and color it in in a more scientific and cultural way. Malorie strongly believes that anything that is considered “science” today was considered “magic” years ago, therefore what we consider “magic” today may just be some form of science that can’t yet be explained. The Weird World Adventures Podcast specifically dives more into this idea.
Who is Malorie Mackey?
Malorie Mackey is an actress, journalist, explorer, writer, and studying anthropologist who has been published in VIVA GLAM Magazine, SheKnows, BlogHer, Elle Magazine, The Monroe Institute Blog, and a variety of other platforms. Malorie is a current member of the Explorers Club, a century-old club dedicated to scientific exploration.
